Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Everyone!  It’s me, Homer Lee wishing you & yours only the best this holiday season!  Branson is bursting with the Christmas spirit everywhere you look!  I’m in my 31st season at Silver Dollar City & right now I play ‘Clarence Peabody’ – Santa’s helper.  Remember, “What Ho-Ho wants, Ho-Ho gets!”  You can find me at at SDC every day they are open & that’s only 5 more days! December 26th-30th.   (Check the ‘Personal Appearance’ page)

'Clarence Peabody' Santa's Helper

A lot of folks ask me many questions about what is going on in Branson so I have a special page called ‘Holiday Things To-Do’ – check it out!

I have written, produced, & star in 2 shows at Big Cedar Lodge this December.  It’s my 2nd year to be in their Christmas tree lighting show with my good friend, Amy Chamberlain.  It’s called ‘Catch the Spirit of Christmas’.  We play ‘Delmar’ & ‘Lu Donna Slinger’ at Big Cedar for the holidays & they are joined by Santa himself to light the Christmas tree.  There are all sorts of activities for the whole family & live music too!  This is open to the public & there is no charge!  And the 2nd show was Big Cedar’s version of ‘A Christmas Carol’.  It was a wonderful show & progressive meal unfolding in 3 historic locations at Big Cedar.  The last performance was December 18th, but we had such wonderful feedback they may do it again next year!

The Trail winds its way through the historic 160-acre homestead and will take you down the famous “Trail that Nobody Knows How Old” into a holiday wonderland.

Open from dusk to 10:30pm every night through the end of the year.  5586 W. Hwy. 76  Branson, MO.  1-877-368-3782

Chocolate Extravaganza!

I had the time of my life Thursday, October 28th, hosting ‘Chocolate Extravaganza‘ at the Radisson Hotel from 6:30 PM – 8 PM as ‘Homer Lee’!  This was a fundraiser for the Dream Team of Hospice Compassus. The Dream Team helps facilitate “end of life” wishes for Hospice patients. There will be vendors, a chocolate contest, chocolate samples, a silent auction & lots of entertainment. ALL proceeds went to the Dream Team. Contact Ginger Harrison at Hospice Compassus (417-335-2280) if you would like to support this great cause!

Trunk or Treat at Faith Lutheran Church in Branson, MO.

Lloyd Presley 1924-2010

Our sympathies to the Presley family in the loss of Mr. Lloyd Presley.  The Music City is in mourning as a Branson legend passes away.  Family members say Lloyd Presley died around 4:30 PM on Saturday, October 23rd.  He was 86 years old and battled Alzheimer’s disease.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Tri-Lakes Center on Highway 248 in Branson. Funeral services are set for Wednesday at 2 p.m., also at the Tri-Lakes Center, with burial at Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery.
