Chocolate Extravaganza!<\/p><\/div>\n

I had the time of my life Thursday, October 28th, hosting ‘Chocolate Extravaganza<\/strong><\/span>‘ at the Radisson Hotel from 6:30 PM – 8 PM as ‘Homer Lee’! \u00a0This was a fundraiser for the Dream Team of Hospice Compassus. The Dream Team helps facilitate “end of life” wishes for Hospice patients. There will be vendors, a chocolate contest, chocolate samples, a silent auction & lots of entertainment. ALL proceeds went to the Dream Team. Contact Ginger Harrison at Hospice Compassus (417-335-2280) if you would like to support this great cause!<\/p>\n

Trunk or Treat at Faith Lutheran Church in Branson, MO.<\/p><\/div>\n

“Trunk or Treat’<\/span><\/strong> at the Faith Lutheran last Sunday night, the 24th, went over EXTREMELY well! \u00a0I played ‘Homer Lee’ – hosting this annual event for the 4th year in a row! \u00a0Great weather & a great crowd! \u00a0I can’t wait until next year!<\/p>\n

Lloyd Presley 1924-2010<\/p><\/div>\n

Our sympathies to the Presley family in the loss of Mr. Lloyd Presley. \u00a0The Music City is in mourning as a Branson legend passes away. \u00a0Family members say Lloyd Presley died around 4:30 PM on Saturday, October 23rd. \u00a0He was 86 years old and battled Alzheimer’s disease.<\/p>\n

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Tri-Lakes Center on Highway 248 in Branson. Funeral services are set for Wednesday at 2 p.m., also at the Tri-Lakes Center, with burial at Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery.<\/p>\n

The family suggests memorials be made to Skaggs Medical Center Foundation.<\/p>\n

This is my 31st season as a comedic personality performing day & night ALL over Branson as well as personal appearances everywhere else!<\/p>\n

Party With the Stars!<\/p><\/div>\n

I had a GREAT time playing ‘Joan Rivers’ on the red carpet, Saturday, October 2nd at the Chateau on the Lake at 9 PM for ‘Party With the Stars’ \u00a0It was open to the public & everyone had a grand time. \u00a0Here’s a photo of me with Jewel & Nevelle.<\/p>\n

I’m in my 31st year at Silver Dollar City – I play 5 characters a day there over the entire 56 acre 1800s theme park!<\/p>\n

6 nights a week, Monday – Saturday, I am in The Shepherd of the Hills play where I perform as 2 different characters. \u00a0The play is now closed<\/strong><\/span> for the 2010 season but, I plan on being there next year!<\/p>\n

That’s right, I play ‘Doc’ & ‘Ollie’ in America’s largest outdoor drama, ‘The Shepherd of the Hills’ play! \u00a0It’s a family affair because, my wife & our 2 sons also work there. \u00a0The last performance for 2010 was Saturday, October 23rd.\u00a0\u00a0This show is HOT<\/em><\/strong><\/span>!<\/p>\n

I’ll be back NEXT year at Big Cedar as ‘Deputy Birdie Tweedle’ hosting an hour-long campfire wagon ride too!<\/p>\n

Our oldest son, Austin is going to be 20 years old on December 7th & it’s like “Father like son” with him… \u00a0He’s going to college, this is his 3rd season as a cave guide at Marvel Cave at Silver Dollar City, he does the lights & sound at Shepherd of the Hills play, & he has his own band called ‘Snake Fighter’ that tours… a lot!<\/p>\n

Don’t forget if you missed seeing the new documentary, ‘Joan Rivers – A Piece Of Work’ that was released in theatres this summer, it will soon be out in DVD & yes, I’m in it! \u00a0I met with Joan 1 year ago last February when they were filming her. \u00a0This film is rated R due to strong language but, what a revealing look into the life of the hardest working person I have ever known.<\/p>\n
