This is my 31 season at Silver Dollar City! \u00a0 They are celebrating their 50th Anniversary ALL season long!<\/p>\n\"SDC\n

They have so many GREAT things going on too. \u00a0What are they you ask? \u00a0Well, for one, if you were born in 1960 – you get a FREE, yes, you read right, a FREE season pass for the 2010 season! \u00a0And for two, if you were married in 1960, the two of you get a FREE season pass for 2010 as well! \u00a0How do you do this? \u00a0Go to silverdollarcity.com & get all the rules\/regulations. \u00a0But wait, there’s more! \u00a0A new ride called,<\/p>\n

‘Tom & Huck’s River Blast’ \u00a0I saw it with my own eyes\u00a0a few days ago & it will be VERY popular! \u00a0Don’t worry\u00a0about getting wet, they have a new 4-person drier!\u00a0Yes, that’s right, ride, get wet, dry off, ride, get wet, dry off!<\/p>\n

I will be at Big Cedar Lodge this season too. \u00a0Check my schedule for all the dates of all my jobs, but I should be at Big Cedar 3 nights a week. \u00a0Usually from 5-6 PM hosting their ‘Campfire Wagon Rides’ \u00a0Yes, fun with me as ‘Deputy Birdy Tweedle’ as I entertain you all the way to the campsite & there you will get to sit around a campfire, toast marshmallows, & listen to a cowboy sing some of your favorite songs. \u00a0We’ll have sarsaparilla, cream soda, & great fun! \u00a0Call 417-335-2777 for reservations.<\/p>\n

May 1st we open up ‘The Shepherd of the Hills’ play! \u00a0I’ll be there just about every night they are open! \u00a0I play 2 characters in the play, ‘Ollie’ the citified young man who enters in a real 1907 DeWitt! \u00a0And then I also play ‘Doc’, the old man who’s catchphrase is, “What would Sarah & the girls say?” \u00a0My lovely wife & our 2 sons work there also.<\/p>\n

Shepherd of the Hills will offer a new attraction this season, a zip-line called ‘Vigilante’! \u00a0You start at the top of Inspiration Tower going 1\/2 of a mile at 50 miles per hour! \u00a0I’ll see you there!<\/p>\n

A lot of changes in Branson, some new roads, new shows, & with plastic surgery becoming so commonplace, a lot of new – old faces! \u00a0If you are a local or come to Branson a lot, my favorite place is AJ’s 1-Stop on the Shepherd of the Hills Expressway just east of the Hamner Barber Theatre. \u00a0As of today, regular is $2.67.9 BUT, if you have their AJ-s 1-Stop card, you get .10 (That’s ten cents) off per gallon so… it’s only $2.57.9! \u00a0This week, if you have your AJ’s 1-Stop card you can get a 20 ounce cappuccino for only .99! \u00a0(That’s ninety-nice cents) \u00a0Warm weather is here & they also have Ethel & Andy’s ice cream so… \u00a0Hello!?! \u00a0I’ll see you there!<\/p>\n
