Happy September friends, it’s me, Terry ‘Homer Lee’ Sanders! \u00a0I’ve never been busier & I love it that way. \u00a0Last month, August 26th I had my ‘Homer Lee & Friends Reunion Show! \u00a0It was SOLD-OUT about 2 weeks beforehand. \u00a0We turned away over 200 people at the Hamner-Barber Theatre. \u00a0The TRIPLE DVD set will be available after Monday, September 10th right here<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Sadness – The Loss of a Dear Friend\/Performer…<\/span><\/h2>\n

The world has lost a dear man, friend, & performer, Mr. Gary LeMaster of the world-famous Sons of the Pioneers peacefully passed away Sunday, September 10th at 12:45 PM in his home with family & friends gathered around him. \u00a0Green Lawn of Branson handled the services beautifully. \u00a0Visitation was Thursday 5-8 PM at Green Lawn Funeral Homer on Hwy. 248. \u00a0 Services were at 10 AM Friday at RFD Theatre. \u00a0Dr. Bob Hubbard, Mr. Scott Presley, & I were honored to officiate this true celebration of such a dear friend & amazing man.<\/p>\n

This is my 33rd year to perform at Silver Dollar City. \u00a0I\u2019m a member of the \u2018Image Characters\u2019 at Silver Dollar City so I play 5 characters a day all over this 56 acre 1800s theme park every day they are open 5 days a week & then I will be\u00a0off on Mondays & Tuesdays when \u00a0SDC goes to their 5 day a week schedule. \u00a0I\u2019ll be playing\u2026<\/p>\n

2. Shepherd of the Hills play<\/h2>\n

This will be my 6th season in a row (I started there 11 years ago) at The Shepherd of the Hills play & I am there EVERY night \u00a0that they have a play*<\/strong>! \u00a0I get to play 2-3 different characters in this, America\u2019s largest outdoor drama\u2026 (*\u00a0\u2013 check my \u2018Personal Appearances page for exceptions<\/strong>)<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\u2018Doc\u2019 who\u2019s catch-phrase is, \u201cWhat would Sarah & the girls say?\u201d<\/div>\n

The night-time play opens the first week of May & will run until the last week of October.<\/p>\n

3. The Vacation Channel<\/h2>\n

This is my 15th season to have my very own hour-long TV show on The Vacation Channel called \u2018Branson Country as \u2018Terry the Tour Guide\u2019. \u00a0We just finished taping my ALL new 2012 season for \u2018Branson Country\u2019 with 8 characters! \u00a0Check it out!<\/p>\n

Yes, you can! \u00a0I\u2019ve been an admirer of Joan Rivers since I first saw her on TV in the early 70\u2032s! \u00a0 I started impersonating her when I was with The Braschler Music Show \u2013 that would have been around 1987 so\u2026 \u00a0I still perform as her today \u2013 it\u2019s the #1 character requested that I do. \u00a0Long story-short, 2 years ago I flew to Minneapolis, MN. (Thanks to QVC & my sister, Jennifer) & spent the day with her. \u00a0A film crew that had been following her for over 1 year was with her. \u00a0They found out about my affiliation with Joan so I am in the new documentary called, \u2018Joan Rivers \u2013 A Piece of Work\u2019. \u00a0It is rated R for strong adult language, but it is a real look into the life of the hardest working person in show business!<\/p>\n
