Happy 1st day of Nov.!

11.01.09

Happy 1st day of Nov.! Only 2 more months left & then, boom, a whole new year will be here. It has been a busy/crazy season here in Branson. I hope you remembered to set your clocks BACK this morning… otherwise you’re late!

I’ll play Joan Rivers tonight at the Branson Mill at 6 PM. It’s a fund-raiser for the kids of the area so a lot of fun for everyone. It’s located on Gretna Road next to the Amish store.

Only 6 more days & Silver Dollar City will open for the Christmas season! I’ll be playing Santa’s helper in the carosel barn where they take pictures with Mr. Claus himself!

We have sunshine above & NO rain in sight for sometime with the temperatures in the 60’s for the next several days. Gas at AJs One Stop (A GREAT place to go) is $2.47.9 for regular, BUT if you have your AJs card they take 10 cents off so… “Hello!?!” A wonderful deal!

Speaking of wonderful… Thanks for being so wonderful to me & my family. I love seeing you at all of my jobs & Wal-Mart too! Tell all those around you how much they mean to you & how much you love them. I love you all!

Less than 2 days & Oct. is over!

10.26.09

A special “Thank you!” to everyone who supported all of the places that I was at this last week/weekend! I have had a ball entertaining everyone everywhere… even in the rain! It’s hard to believe that we only have 2 more days at Silver Dollar City for the ‘regular’ season. That’s right, Friday 10 AM – 6 PM & Saturday from 9:30 AM – 6 PM on Sat.. They will be closed for 1 full week to finish setting-up for the BIG Christmas Festival & reopen on November 7th! I will be helping Santa down in the Carousel Barn.

Before I get to Silver Dollar City on November 7th I will be ‘Terry the Tour Guide’ in a parade in Branson from the Vacation Channel & it’s 10:30 AM until 12 noon!

Don’t forget that this coming Sunday at 6 PM I will be ‘Joan Rivers’ at the Branson Mill on Gretna Road next door to the Amish store. It’s a big fundraiser to help out the needy children in the area. So please, come on out & help us help them!

I’m still trying to get acclimated to Facebook, but that sure has been fun! Its Terry Wayne Sanders, so Facebook me!

A Busy Weekend…

10.23.09

Come on down to Harrison, Arkansas tonight! Yes, I will be at a BIG fund-raiser at the Grace Christian Academy tonight at 6:30. Great food, an auction, & a lot of laughter with Homer Lee & friends.

Tomorrow is the last performance of the 2009 season for The Shepherd of the Hills play. It has been a terrific season for them & what a joy to work there with some great people, but also to be there working with my wife & our 2 sons.

Sunday night at 5:30 is ‘Trunk or Treat’ at the Faith Lutheran Church in downtown Branson! I will be ‘Homer Lee’ hosting this fun night of food, games & trick or treating in the parking lot of the church.

Have a great & safe weekend. It is going to be much cooler so bundle-up where ever you go. Gas is $2.55.9 at my favorite place, AJ’s 1-Stop, & remember ALL locals get .10 off! That’s a great deal folks! Thanks for checking in here at Homerlee.com, I sure appreciate you all! Thanks for always coming up & saying. “Howdy!” to me at ALL of my jobs & Wal-Mart too!

Wow, We’re At The End of the ‘Regular’ Season…

10.18.09

Wow, it’s hard to believe that we are at the end of the regular season here in Branson, MO.! We only have 3 more shows at The Shepherd of the Hills play for the 2009 season. They will be on Tuesday the 20th, Thursday the 22nd, & Saturday the 24th!

The next night, October 25th I will be ‘Homer Lee’ at Trunk or Treat at the Faith Lutheran Church in Downtown Branson from 6:30 till the last piece of candy is gone!

I have a BIG show coming up on this coming Friday, the 23rd of October in Harrison, Arkansas at 6:30. There will be great food, music, & laughter at the Grace Christian School in the gym. It’s a fund-raiser & open to the public. The address is 700 Cottonwood Road, Harrison, Arkansas.

Of course, I am at Silver Dollar City everyday that they are open so that means I’m there as 5-6 different characters a day – Wednesday – Sunday from 9:30 – 6 all over the park. This is the last 2 weeks of the Fall Fest & then they shutdown for 1 week to get the 56 acre park transformed into their Christmas spectacular!

Branson is still moving right along & changing everyday! Gas has gone up… $2.49 at most places but, a bargain can be found here & there.

What? We are 1/3 into Oct.!!!

10.10.09

The weather has been crazy here in Branson! Rain, rain, & more rain! Now it’s very cool… Cool as in cold! The forecast for today, Saturday Oct. 10th is clear & a high of 58. We hope to have a performance at the Shepherd of the Hills play tonight. Bring a blanket though.

October is HERE!

10.03.09

It was bound to happen, October is here & so is the fall weather! This is going to be a busy month for me & my family as well. I’ll be playing Joan Rivers on the red carpet tonight at the Chateau On The Lake at 9 PM. This is for ‘Party With The Stars’, a party celebrating 50 years of live shows in Branson, MO.! It is open to the public & it’s only $9.95 if you order on-line (See Party With The Stars page on this site) or $15.00 at the door. Many Branson performers will be there & it will be a GREAT night for all! I won’t be in the Shepherd of the Hills play tonight, October 3rd, due to this appearance.

Gas is $2.29 here in town, but it is only $2.14 in the Springfield area.

Please checkout my other appearances this month on my ‘Personal Appearances’ page. Laughter is the key to getting through the good times & bad times as well.

Our sons keep busy, Evan is in the 8th grade & doing very well & he performs in the Shepherd of the Hills play 3 nights a week. Austin is enjoying college life as well as in the work field. He is a cave guide at Silver Dollar City 3 days a week, he does the lights & sound in the Shepherd of the Hills play 5 nights a week, he has a 5 member band called ‘Quest For Fire’ & they are performing in the area too.

Dede is busy with Real Estate & now is the time for bargains! Contact her at Dedesanders.com.

Fall is my favorite season so get out & enjoy the sights, sounds, & aromas of the month!

Hello… Oct. is almost here!

09.26.09

Yes, Oct. is almost here & fall is in the air! The leaves are beginning to change color & tour coaches are in town. I know it is fall at Silver Dollar City because I hear the clicking of staple guns as they put up the 5 miles of Christmas lights over the 55 acre park! The weather has been ideal the last 4 days here in Branson.

I continue to get bookings in & around the area so please check out my ‘Personal Appearances’. The BIG one is coming up on Oct. 3rd at The Chateau On The Lake at 9 PM. I’ll be ‘Joan Rivers’ on the red carpet for ‘Party With The Stars’. They are celebrating 50 years of live music shows & many of the locals as well as the names will be there.

I hope that you are doing well in times like this. “What doesn’t kill us will only make us tougher!” Laughter truly is the best medicine so smile & stop to enjoy the little things like listening to the birds sing, smell the last blooms of the season, or call someone you have not talked to in years.

We are 1/2 way through Sept.!

09.15.09

Can you believe that we are halfway through Sept.? Silver Dollar City is open Wednesdays-Sundays now & Shepherd of the Hills play is open Monday nights-Saturday nights… this tells you that I am off on Monday & Tuesday from Silver Dollar City & off on Sunday nights at Shepherd.

I just paid $2.32.9 for gas yesterday & that’s a good deal, it’s even cheaper in Springfield!

I had a great visit with western actor/artist Buck Taylor & actress Maggie Peterson from ‘The Andy Griffith Show’ last weekend at Silver Dollar City. Ruth Buzzi will be another guest star to appear at Silver Dollar City this Fall harvest Festival & I can’t wait to meet her.

Please check out my ‘Personal Appearances’ page I have a lot of them coming up & that’s a special time too! More later…

September is 1/4 GONE!

09.08.09

I hope that you all had a great & safe Labor Day! We had a good one here in Branson! Both Silver Dollar City & the Shepherd of the Hills play had tremendous crowds. Silver Dollar City is closed Tuesday – Friday of this week & will re-open on Saturday with their Fall Festival. Shepherd of the Hills is now 6 nights a week & closed on Sundays. I will be off this Tuesday – Thursday from Shepherd of the Hills play, but, I’ll be there Friday night!

We raised a lot of money for ‘Jerry’s Kids’ via the MDA! Here in Branson at Rocky’s Restaurant we reached $68,700 & in Springfield at Bass Pro we made $165,000! Thanks to everyone for digging in deep to help a very worthy cause.

Thank you for your love & support. I truly appreciate it all!

Happy September!

09.02.09

Wow, this year is buzzing right along! I’ve been busier than ever in my life & I love it!

I spent 2 days as ‘Barney Fife’ working for the Muscular Dystrophy Association & had a great time raising money for ‘Jerry’s Kids’. 7 nights a week I’m in the Shepherd of the Hills play. By the way, we are in our Fall schedule there now & the show is at 7:30 PM for the rest of the 2009 season.

Silver Dollar City is in its last full week of the Gospel Fest & we’ve had a good year so far there. I have a lot of personal appearances coming up & many are private parties. If you’d like to have ‘Homer Lee’, ‘Gma Beulah’, or ‘Joan Rivers’ drop by your party let me know & I’ll try to work you in.

Monday, August 31st I found the true joy of being 50… I had my first colonoscopy! It went well & no problems at all! I took all of the medicines the day before & had a crappy day, but other than that it was ALL fine!

Thanks for checking in with me here at Homerlee.com & always come up & say “Hey!” when you see me! It means a lot! Enjoy your Fall!
