Volunteer To Help Branson!

The Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce would like to ask all those willing and able to come out and help volunteer for the February 29th tornado clean up in and around Kimberling City.  The AmeriCorps team is set up at the old Harter House building on Kissee Avenue and State Highway 13.  All volunteers are required to stop here first before deploying out to different areas to aid in clean up.
AmeriCorps will be in Kimberling City all week from 8am to 5pm accepting donations and volunteers.  Those who come to volunteer are asked to bring protective gloves and eyewear if they have them.  For those who would like to help out by donating these items, they can be dropped at the AmeriCorps location.  Other items people are asked to bring: chainsaws, wheel barrows, rakes, scoop shovels, and earplugs.  Those that can bring their trailors or bobcats are also in demand.
Anyone who is interested in making a monetary donation can do so through Christian Associates at their headquarters in Kimberling City or at the Thrift Store in Branson West.
Should you have any questions about volunteering, please contact AmeriCorps directly at 417-598-8871.Silver Dollar City opens up TODAY, Thursday March 15th!

Live & In-Person!

February 2nd I gave a lecture on characterization & improv!  My lecture was at 7:30 PM at the Shepherd of the Hills Episcopal Church here in Branson.  It was open to the public & it was one of the rare time you’ll see me as Terry Wayne Sanders & NOT a character!  We had a great turnout & we all had a wonderful time learning from each other using principles from show business but how they work in real life everyday!

Can you see me somewhere else?

Yes, you can!  I’ve been an admirer of Joan Rivers since I first saw her on TV in the early 70′s!   I started impersonating her when I was with The Braschler Music Show – that would have been around 1987 so…  I still perform as her today – it’s the #1 character requested that I do.  Long story-short, 2 years ago I flew to Minneapolis, MN. (Thanks to QVC & my sister, Jennifer) & spent the day with her.  A film crew that had been following her for over 1 year was with her.  They found out about my affiliation with Joan so I am in the new documentary called, ‘Joan Rivers – A Piece of Work’.  It is rated R for strong adult language, but it is a real look into the life of the hardest working person in show business!

Joan signed, “Dear Terry – Great to see you again – Joan Rivers”

Speaking of hard working women…

My wife Dede, is a Realtor & you can reach her at dedesanders1.com for ALL your Real Estate needs!
