I’ was the opening act for Thom Taylor Friday night at Club Vegas in Springfield, MO. I went on at 9 PM & Thom followed me!  He’s great & does a wonderful comedy Hypnotist act!  I hope you got to see me there!

Live & In-Person!

February 2nd I gave a lecture on characterization & improv!  My lecture was at 7:30 PM at the Shepherd of the Hills Episcopal Church here in Branson.  It was open to the public & it was one of the rare time you’ll see me as Terry Wayne Sanders & NOT a character!  We had a great turnout & we all had a wonderful time learning from each other using principles from show business but how they work in real life everyday!

February 11th

Saturday, February 11th, I played ‘Joan Rivers’ in Hartshorne, OK. at the historic Liberty Theatre for their Valentine’s Day celebration!  Also performing with me was ‘American Idol’ runner-up Matt Kester.  We were treated like royalty & had a GREAT time!

 

Feb. 19th

I’ve volunteered to play ‘Barney Fife’ in Carthage, MO. He’s always a lot of fun!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Feb. 22nd

I was a guest judge at Branson’s 3rd annual ‘Gong Show’ on February 22nd! The third annual Branson Gong Show set for Wednesday, February 22 at 6:49pm at the Hamner Barber Theatre was to as SOLD OUT crowd! This hilarious show served as a benefit for the Branson Senior Center and the Meals on Wheels Program. Branson entertainer Jim Barber once again served as host with celebrity judges.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

March 2nd & 3rd

And in March I’ll be back with the award winning gospel group, ‘Spoken 4’ for 2 show only in Jackson, MS!  This union will be on March 2nd & 3rd at the Raymond Road Baptist Church.  We ALWAYS have a great time.  Their bass singer is Cecil Stringer who was with us in the Braschler Music Show!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Silver Dollar City

 

 

This is my 33rd year to perform at Silver Dollar City.  I’m a member of the ‘Image Characters’ at Silver Dollar City so I play 4-5 characters a day all over this 54 acre 1800s theme park every day they are open 5 days a week & then I will be off Sundays & Mondays when SDC goes to their 7 day a week schedule.  I’ll be playing…

During the SDC Fall Craft Festival I add a character I started back in 1985…

And at Christmas I am Santa’s helper, ‘Clarence Peabody’…

Silver Dollar City’s season begins March 15th, 2012 with their ‘Spring Fling’

Shepherd of the Hills play

This will be my 6th season in a row (I started there 11 years ago) at The Shepherd of the Hills play & I am there EVERY night  that they have a play*!  I get to play 2-3 different characters in this, America’s largest outdoor drama… (* – check my ‘Personal Appearances page for exceptions)

The night-time play opens the first week of May & will run until the last week of October.

The Vacation Channel

This is my 15th season to have my very own hour-long TV show on The Vacation Channel called ‘Branson Country as ‘Terry the Tour Guide’.

Big Cedar Lodge

I’m back at the beautiful Big Cedar Lodge hosting an hour-long campfire wagon ride as ‘Deputy Birdy Tweedle’ & I start those on March 12th!  Call 417-335-2777 for reservations!

Baker Creek Seed Company

I’m back at The Baker Creek Seed Company in Mansfield, MO. the first Sunday of every month March-September as several characters too…

MDA – The Muscular Dystrophy Association

 

This is my 6th year to be a part of the MDA as ‘Barney Fife’ at their ‘lockups’ & the telethon as well!

Bass Pro

I hope to be back at Bass Pro in Springfield, MO for the Holidays in 2012.  I’ve written several shows for the for the last several years & now that they just opened up a new facility last December where I performed with Santa & ‘Harmony Cheer’ we’ve been asked to look at this new year too – 2012!

Can you see me somewhere else?

Yes, you can!  I’ve been an admirer of Joan Rivers since I first saw her on TV in the early 70′s!   I started impersonating her when I was with The Braschler Music Show – that would have been around 1987 so…  I still perform as her today – it’s the #1 character requested that I do.  Long story-short, 2 years ago I flew to Minneapolis, MN. (Thanks to QVC & my sister, Jennifer) & spent the day with her.  A film crew that had been following her for over 1 year was with her.  They found out about my affiliation with Joan so I am in the new documentary called, ‘Joan Rivers – A Piece of Work’.  It is rated R for strong adult language, but it is a real look into the life of the hardest working person in show business!

Our boys are growing up!

Austin is 20 years old, a college student, he runs the lights & sound at Shepherd of the Hills play, & has 2 bands that perform around the area.

Evan is 16 & a Sophomore, he does the lights & sound at the Shepherd of the Hills play, mows yards in the summer, & is in the high school marching band.
